The new Meiji TC5000 inverted tissue culture Epi Fluorescent microscopes are an ideal choice for laboratory and research applications. The configured models below feature either a Siedentopf binocular or trinocular head. All models feature a front mounted camera port suitable for CCD, 35mm or digital cameras. The included eyepieces are Super Widefield 10x High Eyepoint with a 22mm field of view. The models include LWD TC Plan Fluorescent 10x and 20x objectives. These optics are made using carefully selected extra low dispersion, non fluorescing glass. Layers of a new advanced multiplayer anti-reflection coating are applied to minimize surface lens reflections. The TC Plan F objectives have a high light transmission which extends into the ultra-violet excitation range. The result is an objective that provides an extremely bright, high contrast image with high UV transmission and impeccable color correction. The nosepiece is quintuple, side facing with positive precision click stops. A three position Epi-Fluorescent slider is included with basic blue, green and ND50 neutral density filters. Dual illumination systems are standard, 100w mercury and 30w halogen. A plain stage with 180mm x 245mm with replaceable glass insert with 45mm opening is standard. The condenser has an extra long working distance of 73mm with an N.A. of 0.30.
A large assortment of accessories are available including attachable mechanical stage with optional specimen holds for Petri dishes, Terasaki plates and Hemacytomer holders, additional optics, condensers, and components for phase contrast are also available. All Meiji microscopes come with a lifetime warranty.
The Binocular TC5500, incorporate the MA814 Siedentopf-type binocular head while the Trinocular TC5600 have the MA816/10 Siedentopf-type trinocular head. The MA816/10 uses an 80/20 beamsplitter that can be engaged for photo-microscopy. (100% to eyetubes or 80% to phototube and 20% to the eyetube.) Each microscope head has the eyetubes inclined at 30 degrees with the left eyetube having graduated diopter settings. The interpupillary distance on the viewing heads is adjustable between 53mm – 75mm. An optional ergonomic binocular head is also available.
10x Super Widefield High Eyepoint eyepieces are standard and 15x and 20x eyepieces are also available as an option. A Super Widefield High Eyepoint 10x focusable eyepiece that accepts standard 25mm reticules is also available.
The smooth-operating, ball bearing mounted, quintuple nosepiece provides effortless objective changes.
Meiji Techno offers an assortment of newly designed Planachromat Infinity Corrected objectives for Brightfield, Phase Contrast and Fluorescence Microscopy.
The optional attachable mechanical stage measures 112mm (X) x 72mm (Y). It has ergonomically positioned right-handed coaxial drop down controls. It also accepts the following optional accessory plates: 35mm, 55mm, 65mm, Petrie Dish Holders, 96-well Terasaki Plate Holder, 1" x 3" glass slide holder, Hemacytometer holder. Slide, chamber, and petri dish holding plates of various sizes are available separately.
The standard condenser has a working distance of 73mm.
A powerful 6 volt 30 watt halogen bulb with pre-centered socket provides enhanced image quality and brightness for the observation of specimens.
