The EMZ-5 body delivers sharp, high-contrast images and an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that provides exceptionally high resolution images all throughout the zoom range. The EMZ-5 employs Greenough optics, for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. With the large zoom range, the EMZ-5 offers high resolution observation in precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection. In addition to it’s compact design and versatility a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application.

BD-M-LED is a research grade Brightfield/Darkfield Pole type stand for the EM Series stereo microscopes. It has a large stable work surface and a rotatable lens/mirror system which provides transmitted LED intensity illumination and a sliding mirror provides tilt, as well as front to back movement which allows the user to vary illumination from Brightfield LED to Darkfield LED illumination at an appropriate angle. It can be an effective tool used for research to view living bacteria, or at low magnifications to view tissues, cells or embryo transfer where in oblique transmitted illumination is critical to the experiment. Marine biologists continue to use darkfield transmitted illumination at low powers to observe and record data about fresh and salt water organisms such as algea as well as striae in transparent material and plankton in aqueous solution. Equipped with two stage clips, 94.5 mm glass stage plate and is equipped with an automatic voltage (100v to 240v) sensing power supply and a 20mm vertical post. (Requires F focus block or any 20mm focus block.)

The HD1500MET is our full featured 6 MP camera with a 1/3" CMOS chip. A 0.3x "C" mount adapter (MA151/35/03) is needed to attach it to any standard Meiji Techno America Trinocular Microscope. The HD1500MET features a full HD (1080 x 1920) resolution, which provides high fidelity images with a refresh rate of 60 fps (frames per second) when connected via HDMI, so there is absolutely no lag in the live video feed when moving your specimen or part.

The HD1500MET can be mounted directly to any HDMI monitor or PC and can be used with the provided USB 2.0 mouse, with this the user can access menus that provide all the features of the camera such as exposure, white balance, color control (red or blue), gamma, brightness, sharpness, saturation, denoise, color temperature plus allows the user to save images and videos directly on the full SD card due to the onboard operating system. You can flip the image horizontally, vertically, do a split screen where-in one side of the monitor is a live image and the other half is the captured image. You can also digitally increase/decrease the zoom if needed if your stereo system has reached it’s magnification potential, this will give you the added digital magnification needed. You can also superimpose a cross-line reticle directly on your live image, first click gives you a red line second click gives you a green line, and the third click omits the crossline. The live video and still shots can be saved directly on the removable full SD card for subsequent image capture. All this is achieved without the need for a PC.
