Meiji’s RZ Series CMO (Common Main Objective) Stereo Microscopes are advanced, high-performance, modular, stereo microscopes specifically designed with today’s demanding microscopy applications in mind. Two parallel optical paths sharing one common large objective defines the Common Main Objective design and with a wide range of photo accessories and illumination choices, the RZ Series of CMO Microscopes are perfect for high end lab or production work with optional ergonomic head.
Engineered around a common main objective and parallel optical paths, the RZ Series offers crisp, distortion-free, high-resolution images at magnifications ranging from 3.75x to 300x. The RZ features a 10:1 zoom ratio with built-in variable dual-iris diaphragms and 12 positive click stops through the zoom range. Two perpendicular columns of eight zoom lenses in four groups move in smooth motion controlled by ergonomically sized and positioned zoom knobs. A magnification indicator is conveniently located on the zoom controls.
Exterior components are painted with special anti-static finish which is especially useful when working in sensitive environments. Two types of viewing heads are available including ergo tilting.
Quality manufactured in Japan. Assembled and shipped from the US. An extensive assortment of accessories are available to meet most requirements and better priced than Zeiss, Leica, Olympus & Nikon comparable configurations.

RZ-B ZOOM STEREO BODY The RZ-B is the central component of any RZ system. The zoom optics have a 10:1 zoom ratio and a base magnification of 0.75x to 7.5x. Depending on your selection of eyepieces and objectives, this translates into an total magnification range of 3.75x to 300x. The zoom controls indicate magnification at 12 positive click-stops throughout the zoom range, making photograph framing and measuring easily repeatable and consistent. Dual-iris diaphragms offer excellent control over resolution, contrast, and depth of field. The zoom optics are housed in a rugged aluminum alloy body for increased stability and durability, and all components are coated with an anti-static finish to protect sensitive specimens. Precise coarse and fine focus knobs/mechanism to ensure crisp focusing in all depths of field. |

COX This coaxial vertical illuminator is used when observing flat, highly reflective specimens such as integrated circuits, semi-conductor wafers, polished metal specimens, solder balls, or magnetic recording heads. The coaxial vertical illuminator mounts between the RZB body and the binocular viewing head and directs light MA651 from a 6V, 30W halogen lamp down through the objective onto the transformer specimen. The coaxial illuminator is powered by an optional free standing transformer (MA651/05 or MA651/10) or may be connected to the rear of the RZT transmitted light base. Total magnification is increased by a factor of 1.5X when using the coaxial illuminator. Replacement Bulb: MA326 |
